{"id":127594,"date":"2024-03-06T09:43:12","date_gmt":"2024-03-06T06:43:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bilgem.tubitak.gov.tr\/?p=127594"},"modified":"2024-03-06T09:43:12","modified_gmt":"2024-03-06T06:43:12","slug":"international-paper-award-to-tubitak-bilgem-yital-researchers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.bilgem.tubitak.gov.tr\/en\/tubitak-bilgem-yital-arastirmacilarina-uluslararasi-bildiri-odulu\/","title":{"rendered":"International Paper Award to T\u00dcB\u0130TAK B\u0130LGEM Y\u0130TAL Researchers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"translation-block\">The paper titled <strong>\"HBT Modelling and X-Band Differential LNA Design with 0.25 \u00b5m SiGe-C BiCMOS Process\"<\/strong> prepared by the design team of T\u00dcB\u0130TAK B\u0130LGEM Semiconductor Technologies Laboratory (Y\u0130TAL) was awarded the best paper award at the \"22nd International Mediterranean Microwave Symposium 2023\" conference.<\/p>\n<p>The paper on the modelling of HBT transistor technology with a cut-off frequency of 120 GHz and the design of a Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) for X-band applications using the model was written by Volkan Fenercio\u011flu, Engin \u00c7a\u011fda\u015f, H\u00fcseyin An\u0131ktar from the Y\u0130TAL design team and Osman Palamut\u00e7uo\u011fullar\u0131, Y\u0130TAL consultant.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00dcB\u0130TAK B\u0130LGEM Y\u0130TAL design and production teams have developed a unique 0.25 \u00b5m 5-metal SiGe BiCMOS technology. Thanks to this technology, the transceiver modules of the X-band radars used in T\u00fcrkiye, which enable the detection of very small targets by operating at high frequency and low wavelength, will be produced domestically.<\/p>\n<p>We sincerely congratulate all B\u0130LGEM employees who contributed to the development of this technology and the paper award.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Details about the
