The Turkey Desertification Model Verification and Calibration Study (T\u00c7M-DK) Project, which started on 24.10.2016 and lasted for 29 months, was completed between TR Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry General Directorate of Combating Desertification and Erosion and T\u00dcB\u0130TAK B\u0130LGEM Software Technologies Research Institute (YTE).<\/p>\n
With the project, it is aimed to verify and calibrate the \u201cTurkish Desertification Model\u201d, which was created to identify and monitor areas of Turkey with desertification risk. For this purpose, the desertification risk of our country has been evaluated and the severity of the risk has been determined by conducting technical studies and field studies with academicians, Institution managers and practitioners who are experts in desertification and environmental factors. \u201cTurkish Desertification Model\u201d was calibrated according to measurements taken from the field and statistical tests.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
