The "High Speed Radiolink Production and Sales Rights Agreement" was signed between the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) and ASELSAN for the production and sale of the high-speed radiolink device to be used within the scope of the "Public Security Project" by KAREL. In the Public Security Project, where ASELSAN is the main contractor, TÜBİTAK BİLGEM is the developer and KAREL, one of Turkey's valuable industrial organizations, is the manufacturer and seller.
Within the scope of the Public Security Project, a domestically and nationally produced high-speed radiolink device will be made available to the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF). This will make a major contribution to reducing Turkey's foreign dependence in the defense industry.
High Speed Radiolink Device SRC-GB is a point-to-point digital radiolink device optimized for Ethernet data transmission over 1,000 Mbps using 112 MHz bandwidth and 4096 QAM modulation. It is also capable of carrying over 2,000 Mbps of data thanks to its XPIC feature. The SRC-GB device family can operate in the 7/8 GHz, 13/15 GHz, 23 GHz and 38 GHz frequency zones regulated by the ICTA. It can be used both in existing GSM and Telecom infrastructure networks and offers high-speed packet data transportation capabilities when LTE/4G networks are switched to LTE/4G networks. STM1 and E1 interfaces can also be adapted to the system upon request.
This new generation radiolink device, developed by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, will play an important role in public security projects and make significant contributions to Turkey's defense industry. This project is an important step to strengthen Turkey's domestic and national production capabilities in the defense industry.
