ATAM is a research center established to meet the research, development, design, production and measurement activities in the fields of antenna and radar cross-sectional area (RCSA) with national capabilities in an affordable time and cost.
It is one of the most competent centers in the world where test services in this field are provided with its antenna and RKA reflection-free rooms, material characterization and radome transmittance measurement infrastructures. It is a domestic technology base that can meet all the demands of the public and private sectors in our country with its measurement capabilities and the researchers employed and specialized in their fields.

Mines and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) pose a significant threat to our country. "Mine and Improvised Explosive Countermeasures Test and Research Center - MEKTAM" was established in 2015 at TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus in order to serve as a national and regional mine/IED detection test infrastructure and to conduct research on related technologies.
The test and evaluation infrastructure owned by MEKTAM can be made available to the relevant institutions within the framework of the permissions to be obtained.

RF Research and Development Laboratory consists of expert personnel and infrastructure capable of designing, developing and measuring up to 110 GHz frequency band in microwave and millimeter wave. Various projects, which are needed by the Turkish industry, for radar, electronic warfare and communication technologies are carried out in the laboratory.
