Competence Centers
Competence CentersGeneral View
Competence Centers are structures where different research departments gather around a thematic area and coordinate their work.
- Competence Centers enable the creation of research teams by bringing together researchers working in different research departments.
- It performs the necessary coordination for the research departments to coordinate the subjects they work with.
- It is aimed to work together to determine the focus areas of the stakeholders and to use these Centers for pre-competitive cooperation.
- Rather than communicating directly with the research departments, it is aimed that external stakeholders will communicate and cooperate with the field-oriented Competence Centers, creating an advantage in terms of collaborations to be established.
Competence CentersBusiness Analysis Unit
The Business Analysis Unit of the TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Artificial Intelligence Institute, consisting of business and data analysts who are experts in their fields, will be actively involved in the projects to identify and perform the business analysis activities needed in the projects to be supported within the scope of the call.
The Business Analysis Unit will produce outputs that will be inputs to the requirements analysis and design processes of the projects and will disseminate the estimation metrics, achievements and lessons learned from similar works among the projects.
Competence CentersTransfer Laboratory
TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Artificial Intelligence Institute will provide the projects to be supported within the scope of the call, with the development stages such as blueprint, test, proof of concept, prototype, demo, and a transfer laboratory where these studies can be demonstrated and tested before transferring the developed technologies to the production environment.
Transfer Laboratories;
It will serve as a platform for the integration of products and solutions with different capabilities developed by the stakeholders,
It has a unique infrastructure developed by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Institutes and based on open source technologies,
It will serve as a bridge for the solutions developed within the scope of the projects to be generalized and used in different projects or in the solutions of different problems.
In this context it is aimed to develop auxiliary tools such as:
- Generalized Solutions Catalogue,
- Fully Anonymized Usage Scenarios Database,
- Lessons Learned and Communication Platform,
- Reusable Software Libraries,
- Method and Tool Suggestion System.
