The team consisting of Senior Principal Researcher Yıldız Uludağ, Senior Principal Researcher Özleyiş Bayoğlu, Senior Principal Researcher Bülent Candan, Senior Principal Researcher Bülent Candan and Senior Principal Researcher Hakan Yılmaz from the Real-Time and Avionics Technologies Unit of TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Information Technologies Institute (BTE) won the "Best Session Award" at the 42nd AIAA/IEEE Digital Avionics Systems Conference (DASC) with their work titled "Model-Based IMA Platform Development and Certification Ecosystem". AIAA/IEEE Digital Avionics Systems Conference (DASC) and won the "Best of Session Award" in the "IMA Certification & Standards" session. This prestigious award will be presented at the DASC 2023 Conference in Barcelona, Spain, October 1-5, 2023.
DASC 2023, coincides with the 42nd anniversary of the Digital Avionics Systems Conference, which is regarded as one of the most significant research and development conferences in the field of digital avionics, organized by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). The event invites participants from diverse domains to engage in discussions on crucial technical topics while also upholding a longstanding tradition of providing educational and entertainment opportunities. DASC 2023 aims to bring together approximately 300 avionics experts, fostering interactions with peers, facilitating the acquisition of the latest avionics technology innovations, and offering opportunities for technical professionals to connect with avionics and avionics system providers who cater to their product and solution needs. In addition to the technical program, the conference also includes various events such as workshops, training sessions, plenary sessions, industrial panels, and social activities for delegates and participants.
