PostgreSQL is one of the most widely used open source databases in the public and private sectors around the world and in Turkey. As part of PostgreSQL's ecosystem development activities, the last 3 versions [9.6, 10 and 11 (beta)] have been localized with Turkish language support.
As a result of the studies carried out within TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, all PostgreSQL's message catalogs published in English by default were translated into Turkish and included in the latest versions of PostgreSQL. In this way, these versions of PostgreSQL will be able to be used with the Turkish language option.
PostgreSQL's localization efforts will continue with a focus on increasing the translation rates and translation quality of existing and new versions. In this way, users who use PostgreSQL with Turkish language support will have an easier experience and will be able to work with the system more effectively.
